Nottinghamshire-based filter manufacturer is shortlisted for Growth & Strategy Award at this year’s MakeUK’s Manufacturing Awards

Since launching almost 12 months ago, FilterFinder has fulfilled more than 350 customers' needs, all whilst building an e-commerce website in-house and managing their parent company, Micro-Mesh. Their hard work, determination and innovative filtration solutions have now been recognised as they have been shortlisted for this year’s Growth and Strategy Make UK Manufacturing Award for the Midlands and East of England region.

The Make UK Manufacturing Awards celebrates outstanding teams and collaborative projects from the worlds of manufacturing, sustainability, and engineering. It’s an opportunity to connect, share, solve problems and create opportunities together, shining a light on the performance and growth of businesses within the industry. A range of themes are recognised by the awards including business performance, future of manufacturing, net zero, inclusive employers, emerging professionals, and apprentices.

Elliott Underwood, Head of Online Sales at FilterFinder said ‘We are honoured to be nominated for this recognised award alongside so many other incredible companies within the industry. We’ve worked so hard on growing our brand since launching in December last year and we’re looking forward to attending the in-person Awards event this Autumn to network with like-minded innovators and engineers. Congratulations to all the nominees, we look forward to celebrating no matter what the result is.

Manufacturers and engineers across the UK have played a fundamental role during the pandemic, and the Make UK Awards are a great highlighter of the breadth of innovation from businesses all across the country.

Elliott continued ‘It’s been a monumental year for FilterFinder so far. We’ve achieved so much since launching last December and it’s so exciting to envision what could be in store for the business in the coming years. We’ve always had our sights set on providing the best experience and service for our customers - our team have worked incredibly hard to make this possible and we believe that this award shortlist acknowledges that.’

The Regional Dinner is being held at The Slate, University of Warwick on Wednesday 13th October and will provide an opportunity for more than 500 manufacturing peers to network and create new business connections, as well as hearing from an inspiring after-dinner speaker. The regional results of the Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2021 will be announced that same evening.
